Air-to-water heat pumps and heat pump systems

Heat pump systems have an extremely wide application and are not a novelty on our market. The air-to-water heat pump system is used for heating and/or cooling water, and this water can be used anywhere in the household, even for air conditioning. The advantage of the heat pump is in its expansion capabilities. A wide range of additional components can be connected in one heat pump installation to improve or expand the functionality of the entire installation. These can be solar collectors, photovoltaic panels, additional water tanks, whirlpools, swimming pools, fan coils, underfloor heating, low-temperature radiators, and more.

The air-to-water heat pump works on the principle of air conditioning, with the difference that instead of air, it heats or cools water. This water can be used in the home (in the bathroom, in the kitchen, etc.), it can also be used for heating. For this purpose, low-temperature radiators, fan coils, or underfloor heating are installed. Each of these optional components has its advantages and purpose.

Underfloor heating is installed under tiles, for example, after which the warm air rises, heating the entire room evenly.

Low-temperature radiators work like ordinary water radiators. The heat pump heats the water that passes through it, after which it passes through the low-temperature radiators, heating them as well. Their structure and material of construction allow the heat to be retained for a long time. The radiator heats the air around it and thus warms the room.

The fan coils work in a way close to that of the air conditioner. The difference is that instead of freon, the water heated by the heat pump circulates in the heat exchanger. Fan convectors are an alternative to low-temperature radiators, and their advantage is that they have a turbine that moves the air in the room, thus providing faster and more even heating.

Solar collectors and photovoltaic panels reduce the load on the heat pump, providing some of the energy needed for its operation. In this way, great savings are achieved, and at times it can even happen that the heat pump works only with energy extracted from sunlight.

Numerous controllers and sensors can be connected to the modern Japanese heat pumps that we offer, through which to automate the operation of the system or to set operating modes at different sensor readings. You can also use your mobile phone to control the heat pump installation from anywhere in the world.

With the installation of a heat pump in your home, you can air-condition the entire home without costing you high monthly electricity bills and at the same time enjoy incredible coziness and comfort all year round.
